After I had made this bookshelf for my daughter’s kindergarten class fundraiser, the teacher asked me about making some more birds for another project. Using plywood scraps from my Batmobile Bed project, I laid out as many birds as I could using a template i had made previously.

Using my bandsaw, I cut out all the pieces slightly larger than the patterns I had drawn. After this I joined up 2 pieces to make each bird, then glued and clamped them together.

The sanded birds in a box, ready to be delivered.

A few weeks later the kids had painted the birds up and they were ready to be presented to all the Moms.
